How we collect, use and look after your personal information.
Who we are
New Youth Cultural Association (“we”) is an association in London run by volunteers. We are responsible for the personal information you give us. For any question about your personal information, email salam@newyouthculturalassociation.org.uk.
What we collect
- When you contact us: your name, phone number and/or email address, and your message.
- When you sign up for an event: your name, contact details and how many people are coming with you.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and organise events (our legitimate interest in running the association).
- We only publish photos or video from our events with your permission, and photos of children only with a parent’s permission.
We never sell your information or use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
- Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site securely.
- Fonts are delivered by Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: up to 12 months, unless you go on to join us.
- Event registrations: up to 12 months after the event.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO): ico.org.uk · 0303 123 1113.
